That&#8217;s why we select a new guinea pig rescue each quarter to receive 100% of the money you raise when you use <span class=\"wk\">wheek.it<\/span> to shorten links to products and services from our <a href=\"\/shops\" title=\"participating shops\">participating shops<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last quarter, <span class=\"wk\">wheek.it<\/span> users were able to raise $29.78 for the Q1 (and first-ever) Featured Rescue: <a href=\"http:\/\/wheek.it\/rescue-texas-rustlers\" title=\"Past Featured Rescue: Texas Rustlers\">Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue<\/a>.  And aside from a donation of cold, hard cash, do you want to hear the best part? <strong>For each quarterly donation, <span class=\"wk\">wheek.it<\/span> will give an additional $50 USD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>That means <span class=\"wk\">wheek.it<\/span> users will have helped to <strong>raise over $79.78 for Texas Rustlers<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>You rock!<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->And with revenue coming in more steadily, we&#8217;re expecting that there&#8217;s a few <span class=\"wk\">wheek.it<\/span> super-users who will continue to help fuel our success in raising money for homeless guinea pigs!<\/p>\n<h2>Q2 Featured Rescue: Orange County Cavy Haven<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"\/rescue\" title=\"Featured Rescue\">Featured Rescue<\/a> has been selected by you to be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cavyhaven.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Orange County Cavy Haven\">Orange County Cavy Haven<\/a> in San Diego, California!<\/p>\n<p>Orange County Cavy Haven received 32 votes in last month&#8217;s <a href=\"javascript:poptastic('<?php include(\"..\/inc_main\/poll-featured-rescure-link.php\"); ?>&#8216;)&#8221; rel=&#8221;nofollow, noarchive&#8221; title=&#8221;featured rescue poll&#8221;>featured rescue poll<\/a>, which means Orange County will receive 100% of the money raised by <span class=\"wk\">wheek.it<\/span> users from April 1, 2013 until June 30, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned for more news about our donation to Texas Rustlers, a bevy of Orange County Cavy Haven information, and more guinea pig rescue goodness!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Important Changes!
